Normally condo rentals are in a multi-unit project and have an HOA (Homeowners Association) required to care for the overall exterior and maintenance including a master insurance policy for the project. As an owner, you oversee the interior. If you engage a company for seasonal weekly rentals the rental company will keep you up to date of replacement needs or updates that they recommend. All in all, the monthly HOA dues include snow removal, trash, insurance, exterior maintenance, and other items as needed such as firewood, a reserve for projects, and amenity expenses.
Home care is available for individual homes in the area to check security, heating, repairs, and cleaning as needed.
Long term rentals are based annually or seasonally – such as summer or winter months. Again, you would hire an expert to assist you.
